Enclos and the Environment

Sustainability in design, fabrication and the build site have long been a focus of the Enclos team. The emphasis on environmentally conscious enclosure systems has been integral in the sustainable goals of our completed project resume over the last decade.

Building energy performance is primarily influenced by enclosure systems and mechanical solutions to treat the interior space. Facade systems mitigate between the exterior climate and internal comfort, dictating what passive solutions penetrate the enclosure, and which are shielded from internal occupants. As the construction marketplace wisely continues to progress towards sustainable solutions, the evolution of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (or LEED) Green Building Rating System continues to force evolution in the strategies and technologies of building skins.

Enclos Corp is experienced and currently involved on numerous sustainable projects that cover a wide range of LEED Green Building Rating System certifications. Our organization includes LEED Accredited Professionals at every level, including project managers, designers, engineers and executives. These key personnel are committed to supporting each project’s LEED aspirations, in addition to overall green solutions and sustainable education.
