53W53 Has Officially Topped Out

Tuesday, June 12, 2018

The highest habitable floor of 53W53 has officially topped out.  With the forthcoming addition of the apex structures which form the tips, the structure will rise to a final overall height of 1,050´, bringing it to a tie as the sixth tallest building in New York City, and 13th tallest in the country.

This elegant supertall skyscraper will ultimately soar above the southern end of Central Park in midtown Manhattan and be one of the city’s tallest residential towers. Standing at 77-stories tall, featuring 145 condominium residences, 53W53 will fall nothing short of luxurious amenities. Enclos is working alongside Lendlease to install nearly 400,000 square feet of curtainwall upon the unique Jean Nouvel designed diagrid structure.

Additional information on 53W53 can be found in a recent television feature on the building’s construction process.
