Description

a modern style steel and glass skyscraper located in Century City, Los Angeles

SunAmerica Center is the 3rd tallest building in Century City, a large business district in Los Angeles’ prestigious Westside that is populated by numerous Class A office towers. It is the 18th tallest building in Los Angeles.

The Enclos design team developed a custom curtainwall for the architect on this project. Glass was the primary cladding material in 6 different vision and spandrel panels, with opaque panel materials used as a design element on the facade. Glass panes were pre-glazed to frames built from fabricated aluminum extrusions in a nearby assembly plant. These units were produced in a sequence as required to support the installation crews.

This project received the BOMA International Office Building of the Year Award, 2001/2002.
