Registration for USC’s Facade Tectonics 8

Michel Michno, vice president of Enclos, presents “BIM and the Building Skin: Process Integration in Engineered-to-Order Advanced Facade Systems" at Facade Tectonics 7

Facade Tectonics returns to the University of Southern California campus June 28-July 1. The USC School of Architecture continues its research focus on the study of facades and the building envelope with Facade Tectonics 8, and Enclos is proud to sponsor the biannual event where leading practitioners, researchers, and industry experts come together to share their knowledge of cutting edge issues in facade design and implementation. The summit expands to four days in 2012 with software tutorials, two full days of presentations, and guided tours of noteworthy facades in downtown Los Angeles.

Facade Tectonics 8 will include more than two dozen presentations from leading architects, engineers, facade designers, industry experts, and researchers. Topics of discussion will span all aspects of facade design, material and process, including facade structures, environmental systems, sustainability, preservation, daylighting, glare, and digital media. Douglas Noble, FAIA, Ph.D. and associate professor at the University of Southern California School of Architecture, will lead the event.

We hope to see you at this important stateside summit.

Registration for Facade Tectonics 8 is available here.
