DescriptionEnclos Corp currently has an opening for a Senior Project Manager in our New York City division. This division works on structures that feature glass, aluminum, stone, terra cotta, or operable systems which comprise creative and artistic building enclosures such as: Howard Hughes Medical Center, Trump Tower, and Jacob Javits Convention Center. The Senior Project Manager will manage the total construction effort and ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. This position may supervise and coordinate purchase agreements with various vendors and subcontractors, formulate and implement project work plans, prepare status reports and oversee the review of shop drawings for compliance with contract documents. RequirementsBachelor’s Degree, preference in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. 5-8 years Curtainwall construction experience. Ability to read and interpret blue prints, safety documents and project plans. Ability to define problems and collect data to resolve them in a timely manner. Exposure to BIM a plus. Good communication, computer and writing skills and the ability to interface with a team as well as work independently. The individual in this position will be required to travel periodically to visit vendor sites. Experience with management and coordination of construction site activities. Bilingual skills are an asset. |
